B-17 is the title of the World War 2 sequence that follows the crew of a medium bomber over enemy airspace on a nocturnal bombing run. After most of the crew are killed by enemy weapons fire, they discover that the Loc-Nar influenced their crewmates in a preternatural manner. This sequence was to have been preceded by another sequence which followed Captain Sternn, but was cut out for reasons of run-time.
